How VA Math Works (Worked Example)
Start with 100% healthy
First rating: 50% → 100 × 0.50 = 50 lost → 50% remaining
Second rating: 30% → 50 × 0.30 = 15 lost → 35% remaining
Combined: 100 − 35 = 65% → rounds to 70%
Rounding rules: The VA rounds to the nearest 10%. For example: 55–64% rounds to 60%, 65–74% rounds to 70%.
